The problem of update cache in OrCAD schematic drawing
if the library component is modified during schematic drawing, the following warning will appear when placing the modified component:
part XXX is out of date with respect to the design cache. Use update cache to synchronize the part in the cache with the library.
how to find the updata cache
use the mouse to minimize the schematic diagram and find the design cache under design resources in the project tree on the left side of the window. Click the + sign, expand and find the corresponding component, click and select, and then click “updata cache” under the main menu design. That’s it.
