Error Messages:

Microsoft.CSharp.Core.targets(84,5): error MSB6006: “csc.exe” Exited with code -1066598274

Solution: 

nuget uninstalls Microsoft.Net.Compilers.2.1.0 and compiles using the system’s own CSC.exe
