How to Solve compile error: package junit.framework does not exist

Problem: compile time error: package junit.framework does not exist

Solution:

add <dependency> <groupId>junit</groupId> <artifactId>junit-dep</artifactId> <version>4.8.2</version> </dependency>  in pom.xml
