EFI VMware Virtual SCSI Hard Drive (0.0) … unsuccessful
I installedVMware-workstation-full-8.0.0-471780and created new virtual machine with OS X 10.6.6 with4GB Ram, 1 Processor,40GB Hard Disk(SCSI) and General –> Guest Operating system :Apple Mac OS X, Version:Mac OS Server 10.6.
When I power on the VM VMWare gives the following unsuccessful comments:
EFI VMware Virtual SCSI Hard Drive (0.0) ... unsuccessful
EFI VMware Virtual IDE CDROM Drive (IDE 1.0) ... unsuccessful
Could you please help me. how to solve this errors
Solution:
Remove the VMX file inside the directory of the virtual machine you created
firmware=”efi”
Save and restart the virtual machine
