When mounting the CD-ROM drive, the following error is displayed: you must specify the filesystem type
[root@carlton ]# mount /dev/cdrom /mnt
mount: you must specify the filesystem type
Treatment method:
Check the box in front of virtual machine –> setting – &> CD/DVD –> device status -. Connected
If it is a physical machine:
Run the command LS dev | grep CDROM
Or LS dev | grep SR
See if there is cdrom1 or Sr1
